i hate to catastrophize but how far is this going to go?
Because right now I feel like I’m in the early stages of something akin to The Handmaid’s Tale. Is everyone seriously just going to sit around and let this happen?
Are we really going to allow the rapists of an eleven-year-old girl earn a reduced sentence because the judge ruled that she “looked older” and “was willing”?
Are we really going to determine the availability of contraception for women via an all-male panel?
Are we really going to make it required that anyone seeking an abortion, including victims of rape, must go through an extremely invasive procedure first?
I can’t marry who I want, I can’t get the medication I want, I can’t get the medical procedures that I want…
Am I going to be able to vote this November? Or will that right be taken away from me too?
